Melissa Perri Smith is a writer specializing in speculative fiction and, on occasion, poetry.

Melissa is a writer based in the Washington, D.C. area. Her work focuses on themes of love, loss, abuse, and all we do to overcome. She has work featured in the online magazine Hapa Mag, as well as iō Literary Journal, Sky Island Journal, Channel Magazine, and Trouvaille Review. Her debut fiction novella, Just Us, is available through The Main Street Rag Publishing Company.
